A wonderful copper statue of 13″ LOKESHOR Antique Statue.

Sahasrabhuja Avalokiteswara is cosmie from of Avalokiteswara. Avalokiteswara represented with eleven heads and one thousand arms. The basic image is of the eleven headed and eight armed lokeswara. The eight arms of Sahasrabhuja Avalokiteswara has more prominent position and other remaining one are distributed in either side to form a mandala. These arms are sometimes marked with eyes. The eleventh head at the top is that of his parent tathagata, Amitabha. The tenth head is terrifying and all others are placid. The principal pair of hands is held against the chest in the gesture of adoration while the uppermost hands hold the rosary and the full blown lotus. These four hands thus represent the aspect of the Bodhisatwa known as Kharchheri. The other four hands display the jewel and the gesture of charity on the right and the pot and the bow and arrow on the left.

LOKESHOR Antique Statue

This is a Nepalese handmade statue of Lokeshor in antique traditional style.

It is made from a process – lost wax method which is one of the oldest methods of statue crafting in Nepal. This particular piece is sculpted from copper, it has been submitted to an gold plating process and is done with one of the finest craftsmanship available in a traditional way considering even the smallest details on mind, and the final style is also crafted to look and feel natural antique with abrasion touch.
